Message from our Pastor: Spring 2009

Thank you for your prayers, participation and support of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church now and over the past years.

Renovating and restoring our church is much more than planning and designing our facilities. It is first about building and renewing our faith community so we can be a church that is a sign of faith. Such a plan is care-consuming and time-consuming, yet it offers our parish the opportunity for community building, faith building and facility building.

We have learned from the beginning that people are really the most important part of a parish.We are the people, and we are church. But faith filled people need a place to grow to fulfill our dream.

To realize our dream and build together is rededicating ourselves to our faith, intensifying our commitment to our parish community and embracing our opportunity to work together to become the Church God wants us to be.

Throughout our history, it has been a blessing that you have always responded with gracious and generous hearts whenever the parish need was significant. If we are to grow as church and build our master plan together, we will need the continued support, prayers and sacrifice of every member of this parish to make our dream a reality.

Today, about 65 ministries now serves over 2,500 registered families. Immaculate Heart of Mary Church is reaching out and touching people’s lives in new meaningful ways. As God's stewards of our time, talent and treasure, it is now our turn to renovate and restore our church and to develop facilities necessary to fulfill our vision and goals for the future.

I invite you to give prayerful reflection to this information to help determine your participation and sacrificial pledge Immaculate Heart of Mary Church’s master plan. To help us meet our goal I ask you to consider one of the enclosed gift plans and naming opportunities.
